Frankincense Oil Steam Distilled is obtained from the aromatic resin of the Boswellia tree through steam distillation. The oil appears as a pale yellow to amber liquid and has a warm, woody, and resinous aroma characteristic of Boswellia resin. It is commonly used in aromatherapy, perfumery, cosmetics, personal care, and lifestyle products, and can be incorporated into diffusers, perfumes, candles, soaps, incense, massage oils, bath blends, and other fragranced formulations. The oil contains naturally occurring constituents typical of Boswellia resin, and it blends well with other essential oils, including citrus, floral, woody, and herbal oils. For safe handling, it should be diluted with a carrier oil before topical use, patch testing is recommended.
